Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler will be hosting a “Guide to Grants” Seminar on August 16 at WSU-Vancouver. This event will bring together a variety of experts and successful grantees to provide best practices and strategies on how to produce more competitive proposals and applications for federal grants.

 

Organizations and government entities that compete for federal grants are encouraged to send someone to the event. Due to space limitations, RSVP’s are required. Please click here to RSVP.  

WHAT:
Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler is offering this Guide to Grants seminar that will include a panel of grant recipients sharing the steps they took to successfully compete for federal grant funding.  After the panel, federal grant program representatives will host various breakout sessions based on topics of interest.

WHY:

  • Help organizations be more competitive in pursuing grants through increased collaboration and partnerships with federal granting agencies.
  • Expand knowledge of federal grant options available to Southwest Washington applicants.

WHEN:
Jaime Herrera Beutler will make opening remarks to kick off the event on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 9:00am.

The event will last from 9am to 12pm.

WHERE:
Washington State University Vancouver (Dengerink Administration Building)
14204 NE Salmon Creek Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98686.  The cost for parking is $3. Please park in the Blue lot.
